The word “Merkaba” is derived from Hebrew and means chariot or vehicle. An ancient Egyptian translation phonetically breaks down the word to three parts - "Mer" - light, "Ka" - spirit, and "Ba" - body, representing the connection between spirit, body, and light, and thus - the soul’s ascension process.
